Vegan Spelt Pancakes

Big Life pancakes are made with organic spelt flour, locally made cold pressed sunflower oil, maple syrup, cooked millet, soya milk and orange juice. We bake our pancakes until they are perfectly fluffy and dress them to make a healthy breakfast to start the day off right. They are toaster friendly and great with a little fruit and some yogurt ~ or if you are on a vegan diet, just the add the fruit and hold the yogurt.

Cinnamon Buns

Our cinnamon buns are a healthy alternative to the traditional treat. They are made using sunflower and sesame seeds that are ground and mixed with maple syrup to create a butter. The butter is then spread over our organic porridge dough along with generous servings of diced apples, wild blueberries and cinnamon to create a cinnamon bun that you could run a race on.

Spelt Cinnamon Buns

The butter is then spread over our organic spelt millet dough along with generous servings of diced apples, wild blueberries and cinnamon to create a cinnamon bun that you could run a race on. This version of the bun is heartier and much less glutinous than the basic cinnamon bun.

Vegan Spelt Date Square

Our vegan date squares are made with local spelt flour and organic oats as well as whole dates. We roast seeds and grind them to give the date squares a delicious nutty flavor. Sweetened with Nova Scotia maple syrup, they are a healthy treat for snacking or entertaining.

These cookies are made with local spelt flour and organic oats as well as organic raisins. We use a locally made, cold pressed sunflower oil and pure maple syrup as a sweetener. This crispy, crunchy cookie is great for dunking in coffee and ice cream.
